20-00011 Generation 1 wheel bearing set, front and rear
The Gen 1 set makes it possible and very easy to replace front and rear wheel bearings on passenger cars directly on the vehicle in 15 – 30 minutes.
The Set comes with a fixing late that is universal for bearing removal feet. It can be used with feet to remove and replace Generation 2 and Generation 3 wheel bearings.
Designed to work with the hub on the car and to fit most passenger cars with Generation 1 wheel bearings.

Generation 2 Compact wheel bearing (HBU 2.1) extension set #20-00012
This highly engineered set of bearing removal and replacement tools makes it possible to replace the wheel bearing directly on the vehicle.
This set and method will demount and correctly install Generation 2 Compact wheel bearings (HBU 2.1).
The tool set has been engineered to hold the bearing correctly so during installation there is little chance of cracking the bearing cage. This is accomplished by pressing in the bearing only using the outside of the bearing housing.
Using a standard press greatly increases the chances of cracking the bearing cage on this type if bearing. (type 2)
No wheel alignment or ADAS updates are needed after replacement.
The full set contains several universal tools that are used for many other jobs.
The job is made directly on the vehicle in 15 minutes.
20-00013 Generation 3 Bolted-in wheel bearing extension set
This extension set will demount even the most stubborn and corroded bolted-in wheel bearings, even with the axle still in the hub.
No more hammering, cracked knuckles or time-consuming dismounting or struggle in the shop press.
The job is made directly on the vehicle in 5 – 10 minutes also when the axle is in the hub.
Bolted on wheel bearings often get stuck by corrosion in the knuckle after some years. This set can be used instead of hammering, heating or even destroying aluminum or steel knuckles.
Even more time can be saved by leaving the axle or CV-joint in place when removing the hub/bearing unit. A wheel bearing of this type can be replaced in 15 minutes, even the most stubborn once!
In some cases, the hub can, or is needed to be separated from the wheel bearing to start with the wheel bearing puller for 3 – 4 bolts will then be used to pull out the bearing housing.
Some brake shields are uneven due to drum brakes or parking brake with drums. These need a more precise press surface to avoid damaging the shield. Salty water, mixing of material and tight fittings is a huge problem for many shops. With the right tool it’s a simple job in a few minutes!
Most Subaru models need longer M12 bolts with 1.25 threads when pulling out the rear wheel bearing. The bolts are 3.9” (100 mm) long and made of a stronger material. 01-00042-010
